Why VRG?

VRG offers the best in class, high capacity rotary control valves for midstream and transmission applications. The control valves flow large volumes with low differentials while allowing for exceptional noise attenuation and turndown for high differential and low flow applications. This allows you to plan for a wide set of flowing conditions all within one valve. VRG combines high quality control valves with industry-leading emissions-reducing or emissions-eliminating controls that ensure your facilities and pipelines are environmentally friendly while operating efficiently every single day. All control valves can also easily operate with Fisher DVC6200 positioners if preferred. Competitive pricing combined with ValveSystems's stocking program means that you can get what you need, when you need it, and the Chicago based factory means that valve packages are assembled and tested in the USA.

STH1

STH1 valves combine high capacities with additional turndown capabilities and moderate noise attenuation. Offering 300:1 turndown, these valves permit you to manage startup and low flows while managing maximum flowrates all in the same valve.

STH2

STH2 valves combine high capacities with additional turndown capabilities and substantial noise attenuation. Offering 300:1 turndown and noise reduction by as much as 15 dB(A), these valves permit you to manage startup and low flows along with high flow, high differential applications. These are often great alternatives to Fisher V260A control valves. ValveSystems keeps several of these units in stock at all times.

STHP

STHP units are suitable for high differential applications where speed of response and exceptional noise attenuation is critical. Offering a 200:1 turndown and a flow profile with a rapid ramp up characteristic, the STHP provides excellent responsiveness in applications requiring fast action like anti-surge valve (ASV) applications. VRG STHP valves combined with VRG’s exceptional fast acting instrumentation exceed industry standards in their speed of response.

STH4 & STH5

STH4 units are suitable for your most demanding high differential applications that require both low end control and significant noise attenuation. Offering 300:1 turndown and noise reduction by as much as 27 dB(A), these valves permit you to manage startup and low flows along with the highest differential applications still suitable for ball style control valve designs. These valves enable you to manage startup and low flows along with your highest differential applications. STH4 and STH5 trim selection tends to depend on size and ANSI rating. Please consult ValveSystems about your application for more information.

VMO-150

The VMO-150 is a valve manual override that allows operators to either operate a pneumatically actuated valve in auto mode or in manual mode. In auto mode, the valve operates as the installed control instrumentation dictates. When in manual mode, the VMO allows the operator to move the valve open, closed, or anywhere in between by blocking the pneumatic signal of the control instrumentation and using its own pneumatic supply to power the actuator and move the valve.

VMO’s are essential pieces of equipment for startup and commissioning activities as well as for routine maintenance. They can be applied to any pneumatically operated actuator and are common on both control valves as well as quarter turn ball valves.

ValveSystems keeps a large quantity of VMO-150s in stock and can ship even large orders quickly.
